Cache loading Range

What  range  does  the  app  load  caches  for  with  regards  to  the  map?

in technical terms the live maps loads at zoom level 14 I believe... in simple terms: zoom in until the icon changes from paused to either idle/loading.

I will keep loading as you pan the map

Googlemaps text size

When  I use Googlemaps, it seems like all the map text is extra small. Is there a tweak you can switch to increase their size?

No the tiles are bitmaps and as such there is no way to scale parts of it.

Recent Cache List

GCDROID  would  remember  and  store  in  a  list  or  Possibly  the database  section  each  and  every  cache ..

- selected  on  a  map  (optional long press?)

- selected in a list or db

- opened or viewed


And then be easily acessable with a Recent Cache option in a menu,  as  well  as  the  database  section.

It simply looks better, and if the description is used as a notepad/Workings  area,  true  co-ords won't be confused.

Import > Bookmarks, Rename

Currently  Importing  Bookmark list forces an overwrite of existing FB.
I propose Merging and Renaming Options.

The idea is that you can keep a copy of your BM list in sync with the online list. As such overwrite makes sense.

If you don't want that (you are warned) you can rename the existing DB BEFORE the import.

As such keeping as is.

Der Download scheint eingefroren zu sein.

Habe mit Karten download oft Probleme...

Status Update Problem

Hier ein paar Screenshots meines Problems - es gab dazu ein thema, aber ich habe jetzt alle Topics durchgeschaut und es nciht mehr gefunden. Das Problem besteht auch mit RC17 noch:

Ich habe 2 Caches deaktiviert. Dann habe ich sie aus der App heraus aktiviert. Sie wurden mir weiter als inaktiv angezeigt. Dann habe ich sie auf GC.com aktiviert. Dort werden sie auch als aktiv angezeigt (mit Hakerl markiert):

FTF Search on Live Map

I'm not sure how this works, or if it's a Bug

My test 1...
Live map GPS position shows me approx 300 km North of my current location, where I was yesterday. My GPS/4G is off, explaining why my location is wrong on map. The Live Map FTC Search correctly shows an unfound cache near that location.

Test 2...
Turned on GPS, Pressed icon to locate my position correctly, and repeated FTC Search knowing there are nearby unfound caches within 150 km. The results show the same unfound cache 300 km North Only, others are missing (no filters used).

Test 3...
Enabled 4G, repeated test and got same incorrect results. Hmmm
