After a while offline GCDroid takes quite a while to Update the GPS. For example After travelling a bit and then switching on the App it takes up to ten Minute to get the GPS.

Other Apps are much faster "online" and ready to find caches

Kurz drücken öffnet weiterhin nur Kurzinfo.

I use several different apps on my smartphone with the same set of mapsforge maps e.g.

• Locus
• Orux
• WhereYouGo
• ...

Normally I download the maps from OpenAndroMaps on my PC an copy it on my phone.

The maps are stored in one location. On my phone in the locus/mapsvector folder.

In the apps mentioned above I can set the offline maps path to my custom folder, et voila, I use the same mapfiles and save space on my phone. I addition, I have to update the maps online once and not for each app.

Would be nice if it would be possible to select own path for offline maps. 

Auf der grauen Karte, die Caches gut sichtbar machen  soll, sind disabled Caches kaum sichtbar. Ist kein großes Malheur, weil man ja vermutlich inaktive Caches ohnehin nicht anpeilt. Dennoch finde ich es etwas irritierend, dass hier 5 Caches mehr versteckt sind als es auf den ersten Blick scheint :)

Eventuell könnten im Greyscale Mode die deaktiverten nicht grau sondern weiß oder schwarz dargestellt werden. Oder der umlaufende Ring nicht 1 bit breit und schwarz, sondern 3 bit breit und in der Farbe der Cacheart (oder Gelb bei gefundenen) sein.

This is a minor issue.  On the Manage Databases screen, the cache count/DB size is left justified and the date/time is right justified.   When the combined character counts (including spaces and punctuations) exceed about 40, the two two piece of info begin two overlap in the middle (DB size and Month) making that part of the info unreadable.   Perhaps a variable font size based on character counts (or dropping of spaces or reformat of the date style) can occur as needed to avoid the overlap.

Ich fände es - als alter spoiler Cacher - hilfreich, alle Bilder laden zu können,ohne alle logs laden zu müssen. Ich stelle es mir so vor, dass das Menü hinter dem refresh Logo folgendes zeigt, wenn man sich auf dem Bilder Tab befindet:

* alle Bilder des Owners laden

* 10 älteste Bilder laden

* weitere 25 ältere Bilder laden 

* weitere 25 neuere Bilder laden 

This feature would display cachenames on the map. The  txt size would be a resizeable choice, and Very Long names shortened.
The ability to shorten is also a choice.
