I think this meets the needs of 99% of my users.

How many caches around you really have more than 200 favorites? Maybe you happen to be in an area where you have 10?

Entering a number leaves room for too many issues (enter letters, nothing, etc).

I don't see the need to go beyond 200 realistically.

Given the fact that I spend 1000s of hours on this app and probably got about $0.00001 per hour so far I believe spreading the word isn't much to ask.

I will consider removing it and simply increase the price or just stop developing it all together.

I will think about what to do here for the next major release that will contain the new API.

It is space but also about useful content. From my POV any data that is ALWAYS the same is rather 'useless' if you know what I mean... It's about adding value.

Once you load a cache I guess it is clear to most that not all logs are loaded (basically no app blindly loads them all). And once you realize that then add color or ? adds no more value :-)

option to send 'donation' via paypal.

No it serves no purpose and uses up space. in 6.5 years not a single user complained about it.

Content only makes sense if it changes. In other words, if I sometimes would show all logs and KNOW it and then change the content it MIGHT make sense. But never knowing if all are loaded it ALWAYS would be red or with a ?.

Not making sense to do that, does it?

no, unfortunately not. this is a free online webservice.

but ideally users would write in english for most others to read it. but I can not force them.

Nope, GCVOTE has nothing to do with favorites on gc.com. 2 different things...

Cache GCD has 782 Favorites right now and GCVote reports 4.45 stars from 10 votes.

And yes, in general that data can be accessed but I personally don't care for it and will not support a random voting website that clearly never caught on (see cache GCD and it's numbers).
