I'll see how much effort this is....
Especially when you think about all the options. Like, day only? month only? include year?
After a date, before a date, between 2 dates....
I'll look into it
GCDroid would not know what exactly is covered by which map source.
It definitely would eat up more resources and slow down rendering since I would have to simply have 1 layer per map and just render them all.
I will think about it but on the other hand, I do not really see the huge benefit compared to the downsides of heavy resources and slow rendering (plus my effort).
Likely a no but I keep it under consideration for now.

Use multiple offline maps simultaneously / General / GCDroid (userecho.com)
Any AI service I know if requires some sort of payment from the user (me). I don't see the big value in that right now.
I understand the hype over AI. But unless there are FREE options I am not willing to invest the time into this.
Closing for now.
This is by design. I might or might not add it back. It required heavy modifications to the mapping library.
I understand your point but at the end of the day, the user set the filter...
Currently custom WP are filtered via 'Other' type. Other includes super rare types like APE, HQ, etc.
So technically it is no problem for the user to just keep that selected. It will, in 99.99999% of the cases NOT add any extra caches to the map besides custom WP.
Also, you can select the cache and go to the cache details and add a WP that is part of that cache. When you 'GOTO' that cache, the WP will show on the map, regardless of filter. That would be the other option.
I'll think about it.
Well, the reason I never did that is because I support different database (+ live map). To go the page I would have to know which database was used. And maybe the cache no longer exists.
Not the straight forward.
I fixed that. Not the upcoming release but the one after that.
