Did you tried to change the font size?
Under settings/Experimental/Font Size you can change it.

Yes, I tried that, and all font sizes change, but not the font size of the distance to the cache...

Yes indeed, we are talking about the pulldown menu. I thought that's what the topic was about.

But can it be made so that the distance in the pull-down menu can be made considerably larger so that it can be read quickly and easily on a vibrating bicycle, even without reading glasses?
