Direct switch between Offline and Live Map

While being in an offline database, when you click the arrows, you are able to change the database. I propose that there would be an additional tab by default, to switch to the Live Map directly. I need that very often and I think that would be a nice shortcut.

Or click "back" and the big "live button" on the main screen. It takes also 2 taps?

Click arrows, click newly added live

Versus

Click back, click live

Sorry, but it takes a lot of clicking when switching to offline and back and you are not right. As I tested you need to click back twice when a cache is selected (and that is all the time), click on the Offline Database button and then switch the right down button to MAP the list. It's a total of 4 clicks every time. Going back from the offline map is also backing to the list, and not to the menu.

So a direct switch would be a blessing in field, when you don't actually have a lot of time. I don't know why would anyone not want this kind of switch.

I am not judging, just trying to see if there is another way to accomplish what you seek. At least until the boss of the software decides whether your request is possible, feasible or interesting.

I see your point, but time is never of the essence for me while I am out 'n about. 2, 3 or 5 clicks. I am on a nice walk / bike / boat / whatever so haste is waste 😜😎👍
