Night mode for map

It would be helpful to have a night mode for the nap so it isn't glaring from the dashboard

this basically exists... you can turn on gray mode when you are in the maps.

Do you mean turn on light or dark mode?  I see no setting for a gray mode in maps.  If it is for the dark mode overall, the map is still very bright compared with other maps like google navigate or waze.  Am I missing a setting?
