Allow to link to offline map file in other location then the app folder. This would allow to use the same map file in multiple apps

Would be great, because I need the same map file for WhereYouGo and other apps.

I decided against this long time ago. Toooo many issues with access to external folders in Android.

My response is: have the other app use the GCDroid folder. And many reply that the other app does not support that (likely for the same reason).
